About Me

I'm Ahmed Elbardisy ā€” a Cloud & DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified, and a Computer Science student at Suez Canal University. I hold the AWS Cloud Practitioner and Solutions Architect Associate certifications and am currently enrolled in the ITI Cloud Architecture Summer Internship.

I work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Ansible to build scalable, automated infrastructure. I'm confident in Linux, scripting (Bash/Python), and setting up CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

Kubernetes Microservices Voting App

A production-grade microservices application deployed on Kubernetes, where users vote between cats and dogs. The system consists of five services:

  • Vote: Frontend web app for casting votes
  • Result: Backend interface displaying real-time results
  • Worker: Background processor moving votes from Redis to PostgreSQL
  • Redis: In-memory data store for fast vote handling
  • PostgreSQL: Relational database for persistent storage

The project demonstrates core Kubernetes concepts: Deployments, Services, Pods, and YAML manifests. CI/CD automates container builds and cluster updates.
